Comprehensive support for adults with mental illness — staffed 24 hours a day and reachable without an appointment. From outpatient crisis intervention and preliminary consultations to immediate admission.
Walk-in / Acute Outpatient Clinic, UPK Basel

A drop-in service without an appointment. You can arrange a time by phone or come to the open consultation during opening hours for an initial assessment.
Crisis Intervention Unit (KIS), UPK Basel
A UPK unit at the University Hospital Basel — support with sleep disorders, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and depression. Admission at any time via the acute outpatient clinic (Kornhausgasse 7, 061 325 81 81) or Patient Admissions and Psychiatric Emergency (Wilhelm Klein-Strasse 27, 061 325 51 00).
Outpatient Clinic for Children and Adolescents, UPK Basel

Outpatient and inpatient assessments and treatment for children and adolescents, involving their families. In acute emergencies, short-term inpatient admission is possible.

Protection and shelter for women, with or without children, experiencing domestic violence — physical, psychological, economic or otherwise. Young women aged 18 and over who are threatened by forced marriage also find temporary help here.
